Benefits of att

Apart from being comfortably transported between destinations at transonic speeds, freight transport customers will enjoy a number of benefits not currently offered by conventional transportation methods. 

No Shared Track

Due to the fact that the ATT system will be solely used for freight transport, there is no risk that a passenger-rail transport car will cause delays. This configuration also allows freight transport to occur throughout the day without interference from passenger rail. 

Immunity From Weather

Due to the fact that the system is enclosed in a large diameter tube, it is able to operate without interference from weather. While the Southeastern US is not at risk of earthquakes, the Hyperloop system is able to deter the effects of gale-force winds. The cross-sectional shape of the Hyperloop allows hurricane-force winds to bypass the system, leaving it largely unaffected. 

Collision-Preventing Navigation & Comms System

Constant monitoring by use of Optical Comms System & Condition Sensor System similar to those in the Pipeline Sector of the Petroleum Industry, we can prevent the possibility of collision occurring. Collision is also preventable in a closed system by use of rapid deceleration redundancy & station logistics.

Inherit System Design Benefits

Being in a closed system, there is literally no possibility that a ATT transport car will be in contact with local traffic. ATT infrastructure also doesn’t use traditional rails, and doesn’t rely on a car/engine configuration. Each passenger transport unit is operated independently. Because of the system’s confinement to the tube environment, the probability of a malfunction causing significant damage is effectively 0%. By having one entity manage the transport for a given route, there will also be no overlap of rail cars.

Accident-Preventing Operating System

ATT Transport Cars will use Dual Carbon Batteries in lieu of Lithium Ion. This new technology uses batteries that do not overheat & won’t combust under adverse loading. Routine maintenance will also be performed, with inspections occurring daily. ATT Infrastructure will also not rely on human conductors, but instead communications systems & onboard controls to operate. This increases the safety of the system by removing human error from the equation. As a failsafe, a passenger car operator will be onboard every transport car while in service to activate safety systems & emergency braking the in the event of an emergency.
